One of the most heavily-anticipated features in development at Xero in the last 12 months has been Quotes. We can confirm that this has finally been brought to market by Xero in what is a huge improvement to the software.
From Xero’s blog detailing the release:
“Quotes will give you and your customers an easy, seamless way of creating and sending a quote, tracking its progress and then – once a quote has been accepted – creating an invoice from the quote, ensuring you get paid for the work. We’ll also let you copy a quote – ideal if you generate similar quotes. Lastly, similar to the way branding themes work for invoices, you can create your own themes or templates specifically to use for quotes.”
We deal with many small businesses that will love this feature. Some clients will find that the quotes feature fills a gap in the software that previously required an add-on solution.
This upgrade confirms Xero’s philosophy of continued development and improvement – proving that they really do listen to their customers.
